Menjangan Island
Menjangan Island is a national park located in the north-west part of Bali one of few places where you can find abundant marine life and healthy corals. Currents are manageable all year round with walls around the island makes the underwater landscape unique.
There are several ways to got o this island. The cheapest way is to go directly to Labuan Lalang Harbour and join a trip there, which will cost anything from IDR 400.000,-/person to IDR 600.000,-/person or you can join a local snorkeling tour from Pemuteran which will cost around IDR 550.000,-/person including lunch, entrance ticket and pick up from your hotel. Another way is to join snorkeling trips by scuba dive shops. This trip will cost around IDR 800.000,- up to IDR 1.500.000,-/person. The negative part about these trips are you are most likely to go to common spots for snorkelers.
Lastly, the best way and the most recommendable way is to use a private boat specialized for freedivers. We arrange this trip with a minimum 2 freedivers. This trip is a guided tour customized for freedivers. We go to spots freedivers love away from the snorkeler and scuba divers. Departing from Pemuteran, a small fishing village 20-30 minutes boat ride, we can run trips to Menjangan on a daily basis.
